Trump World Tower
Trump World Tower is a residential skyscraper at 845 United Nations Plaza (First Avenue between 47th and 48th Streets) in Manhattan, New York City. Construction began in 1999 and concluded in 2001. The building is 262 meters high and has 72 floors with facades of dark, bronze-tinted glass. One of the numerous residential towers owned by New York-born real estate developer and celebrity mogul Donald Trump, it cost approximately $300 million to construct. Currently, 1 to 4-bedroom condominiums in the building have been known to go for as much as $13.5 million. In fact, a mega-penthouse on the top three floors of the structure totalling 20,000 square feet was pegged by Donald Trump at $50 million. The apartment, after failing to sell for years on end, was recently seperated into three different units, all of which were quickly sold. Prior to the completion of the 21st Century Tower in Dubai and the Tower Palace Three in Seoul in 2003 and 2004, it was the tallest all-residential tower in the world. |
